Eurolines launches Coachacross Ireland campaign with "fares that don't take off"!27 September 2005 Eurolines, the ultra low-cost scheduled international coach operator, has launched a new promotional campaign with Tourism Ireland, Stena Line and its Ireland coach partners Ulsterbus and Bus Eireann aimed at increasing the number of passengers using coach travel to Ireland. It's not too long ago that virtually every journey across to Ireland involved coach and ferry. Today Eurolines and its partners still offer the cheapest options for anyone planning a journey across the Irish Sea. The businesses have teamed up to launch a web-portal www.coachacross.com which gives customers access to the full range of services to and from Ireland at a single point, wherever they are starting their journey. It offers hundreds of destinations across Ireland and the UK using the coach and ferry combination. The promotion offers single fares from just £19 to Belfast, Dublin and Cork - available from travel agents and online. There are also special return fares to Dublin, Belfast and Cork from £29. Announcing the launch of www.coachacross.com Eurolines Managing Director, John Gilbert said "What coachacross does for the customer is give them easy access to every part of the network of services available to and from Ireland. We appreciate the support of Stena Line and Tourism Ireland in the project. Without their support it couldn’t have come together so easily." The launch is boosted by an outdoor advertising campaign in London and elsewhere promoting the CoachAcross. John Gilbert continued: "In joining forces with Ulsterbus and Bus Eireann we have been able to bring great value coach travel options across the Irish Sea. Unlike our winged competitors there are no taxes, hidden extras or fuel surcharges." - Ends - Notes to editors:
