Roskilde, 2-5 July

Roskilde is seen as one of the big three music festivals in Europe alongside Glastonbury and Sziget and attracts about 80,000 revellers keen to see bands from all genres, rock, pop, indie, rap, hip hop reggae, club and much more! With artists like Kanye West, Oasis, and Coldplay  performing, Roskilde 2009 will be one to remember!

Sziget, 12-17 August

Running between 10-17 August, on Óbudai Island, Budapest, Sziget is a legendary festival attracting around 400,000 people for a week of music, cinema, dance, theatre, sports and much more. This year promises a huge line up, with acts like The Prodigy, and Bloc Party set to take the stage. And with the beautiful city of Budapest to explore on your doorstep, a trip to Sziget is one not to be missed!
