The name of Baden-Württemberg's capital is inseparably linked with that of the automobile. This is where one of the very first automobiles was conceived by Wilhelm Maybach and Gottlieb Daimler. To honour the 125th anniversary of the automobile, Stuttgart will be the venue for a whole summer of events, a celebration of Baden-Württemberg's great automotive pioneers and inventors, Gottlieb Daimler, Carl Benz and Wilhelm Maybach
