Val d'Isere is especially good for beginners. There are a number of nursery slopes where you can learn all the skills you need. The ski lifts are even free of charge for beginners.
If you fancy some time away from the slopes, there are many things to do to while away your après ski time. These include husky sleighs, snow shoe hiking or indoor activities such as a visit to the spa or swimming pool. There also shops, bars and restaurants to keep you entertained.
